    Jets trade for Demaryius Thomas in rare Patriots deal



    The Jets and Patriots made a rare trade Tuesday, with New England sending wide receiver Demaryius Thomas to Gang Green for a 2021 sixth-round draft pick, ESPN first reported.Thomas (hamstring) sat out the Patriots’ Week 1 thrashing of the Steelers, and had 59 receptions for 677 yards and five touchdowns last season split between Denver and Houston.
