Dwyane Wade shoots down comeback rumors, says he’s staying retired
Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade caused quite a stir yesterday when he appeared to allude to a potential comeback in the wake of his retirement following the 2018-19 NBA season.In a column by Arash Markazi of the Los Angeles Times, Wade stated that he plans to stay in shape and that he would not rule anything out as it pertained to a possible return to the league:“I’m done, but my trainer is going to keep me in shape just in case something happens,” Wade said, smiling. “I’m going to stay in shape because you never know. Never say never.”Wade also mentioned that he plans to continue working out with former teammate and friend LeBron James at the Los Angeles Lakers practice facility in El Segundo, CA.
