The newest iteration of the Bronx Bombers is now in the history books.
During Thursday's game against the Boston Red Sox, the New York Yankees became the first team in Major League Baseball history to feature 12 players with at least 10 home runs. The feat was clinched by midseason acquisition Luke Voit, who hit a two-run bomb during the second inning.
