WWE SmackDown on Fox Tonight

This has been one of the more eventful weeks in the history of professional wrestling, and it all gets capped off on Friday night as WWE's SmackDown brand officially makes the move to the Fox network in prime time. Beginning this Friday night at 8 p.m. ET, the blue brand will be featured on network television each and every week in the same time slot on Fox. Friday's debut show will also serve as a 20th anniversary celebration for SmackDown, so the card for the event is loaded with some premier matches as well as some big-name stars making their presences felt. The headlining bout on the PPV-quality card will feature Brock Lesnar challenging Kofi Kingston for the WWE championship in a match many feel will result in an inevitable return of Lesnar to champion status. Lesnar last wrestled at SummerSlam back in August, losing the universal championship to Seth Rollins. Now, he looks to get a world championship back around his massive waist by ending the feel-good championship run of Kingston that began back in April at WrestleMania 35.
